Juno Hire recently had the joy of working with London event company Pearl & Pear, in the beautiful setting of The Banqueting House in Whitehall. ‘Palace Pearls of Wisdom’ was an inspirational event aimed at professionals in the events industry, a day packed with enlightening talks, workshops and networking. A tropical themed lunch, a grand staircase adorned with plants by Royal florist Philippa Craddock, and handmade golden trees, were just a few of the unforgettable highlights of the day. It was a pleasure to a bit a part of Pearl & Pear’s event and vision. Here is the lowdown on some of our furniture hire items used on the day…
Our Dinky Armchairs in shades of Moss Green, Claret and Electric Blue looked positively fit for royalty in the grand setting of The Banqueting House. Surrounded by a ‘Gold Forest’ of trees made by Twilight Trees, the colours of our armchairs really popped. Our Dinky Sofas in Dusky Blue also created a lovely pastel note, particularly alongside the plush pink chairs from vintage furniture supplier Locate to Create. This combination of new and old furniture pieces created a unique and stunning display.
The perfect size and height for housing guest’s drinks and nibbles, the Tangle Table made both a practical and stylish impression at the Palace Pearls of Wisdom event. The metallic stems and glass mirrored top complimented the golden trees and reflected the majestic chandeliers hanging above.
Classical and contemporary aesthetics were interwoven throughout the Palace Pearls of Wisdom event, and this was no better exemplified than with the inclusion of our Dexter Sofas. Minimal and practical, the Dexter Sofa looked all the more sleek and modern against the backdrop of the royal hall. The inclusion of real grass by company WowGrass in the hall was another of our favourite combinations of modern and classical. Who would have thought a grass carpet inside a royal banqueting hall would look so good?!
